This policy applies to the website at bestnameideas.com and to every page on it. It does not apply to any other website you reach from here, including sites reached through an advertisement. Those sites run their own policies and we have no control over them.

None. There is no registration, no login, no comment system, no newsletter and no contact form on this site. The name generators run entirely inside your browser: the word parts are already in the page when it loads, nothing you type or select is sent anywhere, and no generated name is recorded.

If you choose to email us, we receive whatever you put in that message, including your email address. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. We do not add it to a mailing list.

Like every website, this one is delivered by a hosting and content delivery provider that keeps short-lived server records of the requests it serves. Those records can include the IP address making the request, the browser and operating system it reports, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request.

Those records exist so the provider can deliver pages, block abuse and defend against attacks. They are technical logs, they are not linked to any profile of you by us, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

This site sets no cookies of its own. It stores nothing in your browser: no local storage, no session storage, no fingerprinting. Cookies that do appear come from third parties, and they are described in the Cookie Policy, which is part of this policy by reference.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money. You have the right to know what is collected, to ask for deletion, to correct inaccurate information and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. This site is not directed to children under the age of thirteen and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Technical server records are kept only as long as the hosting provider needs them for delivery and security, which is a matter of days rather than months. Email correspondence is kept while it is useful to keep and deleted afterwards.

Our hosting, delivery and advertising providers operate internationally, so data handled by them may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under the transfer safeguards those providers publish.

Pages here may link to other websites, and advertisements will take you off this site entirely. Once you leave, this policy stops applying. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of any site we do not run, and a link is not an endorsement.

This policy changes when the site changes, for example if a new measurement or advertising provider is added. The version published on this page is always the one that applies, so check back if it matters to you.
